Job Description

This role will report to the Deputy Director - FP&A, SPPG Finance and dotted line to the Deputy Director - Fixed Asset/Projects, SPPG Finance. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:What You’II Do:Finance business partner to operations, working closely with and providing strategic insights across various stakeholdersSupport the preparation and submission of forecast and budget plans to the Management/BoardSupport month-end and year-end closing activities, and prepare and present financial reports and key performance indicators to the Management/BoardProject Management for Disbursement Recovery and Capital Projects, including but not limited to the following tasks:Manage the financial aspects of a project from initiation to commissioningPrepare, verify and ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customerTrack project costs and ensure compliance with internal policies and the relevant accounting standardsAssist in project closure activities and understanding the variances between actual costs and budgetAssist in month-end and year-end closing activitiesReview and identify opportunities to improve existing processesUndertake ad-hoc tasks and projects, such as credit evaluation and cost-benefit analysisWhat You’II Need:Degree in Accountancy from a recognised university1 to 2 years of relevant work experienceKnowledge in using SAP and BPC would be an advantageGood writing and interpersonal skillsConversant with MS OfficeGood analytical and problem-solving skillsProactive, hands-on, resourceful and with an eye for detailsEffective team player, highly motivated and independentWhat We'll Provide:Join us to empower the future of energyWe offer hybrid work arrangement as we believe in providing work life balance while maintaining rapport at workImmerse in a positive work environment that promotes/fosters teamwork and collaborationThank you for your interest in SP Group.
