Join our Financial Reporting team at the Aegon Budapest office!Your challengeThe Financial Reporting Specialist is an experienced professional, reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting. On a day-to-day basis the Financial Reporting Specialist works on producing specific deliverables in the financial and non-financial reporting space. The Financial Reporting Specialist is accountable and responsible for gathering, consolidating, reviewing, and reporting financial and non-financial information for Aegon International region, including preparation of the reports, in a controlled manner. The Financial Reporting Specialist is also responsible for performing a technical analysis on the numbers reported by the business units belonging to International region (Spain & Portugal, Brazil, China and Asia Pacific). Also, the Financial Reporting Specialist participates in the annual budget preparation process, as well as provides financial expert input to various finance projects.Your teamThe department Financial Reporting is part of Aegon International, reporting to the CFO of Aegon International. The purpose of Financial Reporting is to provide Aegon Management as well as Aegon’s Corporate Financial Centre with reliable, transparent and compliant financial and non-financial information, such as IFRS, Capital and MCVNB information, to support decision making process and the delivery on legally required reporting.The department, comprised of highly engaged and motivated people, is working closely with other functions of Aegon International, like Actuaries, and also with Aegon’s Corporate Financial Centre.
