Fintech Business Analyst

Overview:The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting and improving business functions, including Corporate Finance, Advisor Performance & Compensation, and Advisor Onboarding. The position involves analytical work, collaboration with multiple teams, and an interest in emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence.ResponsibilitiesLead and support cross-functional projects related to corporate finance and advisor operations.Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements (user stories, process maps, controls) and convert them into specifications for engineering; manage backlog, prioritization, and acceptance criteria. Work with Technology & Operations Program Management.Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to organize deliverables, assess risks, and keep projects on track.Analyze advisor performance metrics and compensation structures for strategic decision-making.Define onboarding workflows for new advisors, ensuring compliance and operational preparedness.Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.Support AI-related initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, data integration, and reporting.QualificationsExperience in business analysis, ideally within financial services or wealth management.Knowledge of corporate finance principles and advisor compensation models.Background in defining and implementing business workflows.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Capable of independent and collaborative work in a changing environment.Competent in documenting current and future state processes related todata ecosystem and digital experience.Experience with UI development, including requirements definition and design.Demonstrates critical thinking and an enterprise perspective.Familiarity with systems and tools used such as DevOps, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Alteryx, Power BI, Solver, Jaccomo.Focus on quality and impact.Emphasis on teamwork and collaborative engagement.Commitment to respectful, inclusive, and shared success.Adherence to integrity, excellence, and c lient-focused service.Intellectual curiosity and openness to innovation.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, transparent, and accountable setting.Adaptable and proactive approach to problem-solving.
