Fintech (Payment / FX)- Chief Financial Officer - USD 300K - 500K

We are a steadily expanding global Fintech company, the CEO is seeking an experienced and highly strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance department. This person will own the company’s financial engine end-to-end—tight closes, bulletproof reconciliations, tax/structuring for new markets, and fundraising readiness—so the business can scale safely and fast.The ideal candidate is coming from Payment or FX trading financial services background. With hands on experience across Financial Operations, Corporate Tax, Expansion Strategy, Capital rising. Open for candidate base in South East Asia.Responsibilities:Run close, consolidation, and audit across multi-entity, multi-currency ledgers; drive ≤5-day close.Oversee treasury (liquidity, PSP/bank settlement, cash forecasting), and resolve breaks in payments/FX/ trading flows.Build robust revenue recognition, cost controls, AP/AR automation, intercompany, and internal controls (SOX-lite).Level-up the finance stack (ERP + BI), recon pipelines, dashboards, and SLA monitoring with Product/Engineering.Own global tax (CIT, VAT/GST, WHT, transfer pricing) and entity/branch setup for new markets; manage advisors efficiently.Design capital-efficient legal/ops structures (licensing, booking models) with Legal/Compliance.Model unit economics and country P&Ls; set budget cadence and OPEX guardrails.Maintain an investor-ready data room, KPI pack, and operating model; support equity/debt raises and board reporting.Lead banking/PSP relationships; negotiate better terms, uptime, and settlement SLAs.Requirements: 12+ years in payments / FX / trading / broader financial services finance leadership (fintech/scale-up a plus).Hands-on operator: you’ve personally run close, audits, treasury, tax—not just supervised.Deep multi-entity, multi-currency experience; fluent in settlement and reconciliation patterns with PSPs/banks.Strong IFRS/US GAAP, consolidation, revenue recognition, and internal controls.Built/modernized finance systems (ERP/GL, BI) and scaled teams (hiring, SOPs, vendor management).Executive communication: clear with the board, practical with operators.Please submit your CV here or send to info@primepeakgroup.com, or reach out at +852 91941044 for more information.
