The position focuses on professional fire safety, emergency response, and fire management, requiring a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar industrial or fire services environment.Qualifications And SkillsExperience of at least 1 year in fire safety, emergency handling, or industrial safety protocols relevant to large-scale industries.Proven knowledge of fire prevention methods and relevant safety regulations for petrochemical and oil & gas sectors.Strong ability to operate and maintain firefighting equipment, ensuring all systems remain in optimal condition at all times.Experience conducting detailed risk assessments to identify and address potential fire hazards throughout plant operations.Competence in leading or participating in emergency response operations during fire incidents and mock drills across the facility. (Mandatory skill)Understanding of procedures for fire tender operations, including vehicle readiness and maintenance checks before deployment.Skill in documenting and compiling detailed incident and compliance reports, as well as routine fire audit checklists for management review.Ability to work collaboratively with fire and safety teams and communicate safety initiatives to all operational staff effectively.Roles And ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly and effectively to fire incidents and support ongoing emergency management operations across the facility.Conduct regular risk audits and site inspections to detect fire hazards and recommend necessary prevention steps and controls.Oversee maintenance and daily readiness of all fire-fighting equipment, fire tenders, and emergency response vehicles.Assist in developing and conducting fire safety training and mock drills to ensure preparedness among all personnel.Ensure accurate documentation, investigation, and reporting of all fire incidents or near-misses to management and authorities.Collaborate closely with plant safety teams to implement and reinforce fire prevention plans and safety policies.Maintain up-to-date records of safety audits, routine equipment checks, training sessions, and incident reports as per SOPs.Support the implementation of best practices in fire safety, and participate in external or internal safety audits as required.
