Job DescriptionA Fire Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of facilities with fire safety standards. This position requires a thorough understanding of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and emergency exit systems. A Fire Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire safety equipment in a variety of settings, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. They must stay abreast of fire safety codes and regulations and ensure that all systems are fully compliant and operational. The role demands a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing preventative measures to protect lives and property from fire-related incidents.
