Job Description

The Fitness Retention Manager is responsible for the organisation, management, administration, and supervision of all aspects of the Fitness Department, especially the Personal Training and Retention activities.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: coaching, training, scheduling, supervising, evaluating, monitoring, and completing payroll for the fitness department and timely submission of performance reports. Updating, monitoring, tracking, and service calls for New Join Members. Job Description and Responsibilities:Fitness OperationsDrive completion and conversion of the team induction sessions to new membersMeet every member joining the club and book them with a coachLead and drive PT revenue of the team through the coaching sessionDrive and manage the Team’s productivity in terms of PT conductionEnsure every member receives their Fitness ReassessmentEnsure the Gym Floor is correctly covered with coaches actively assisting members; the gym floor should be tidy and safe at all timesCheck equipment and report it immediately if the equipment needs to be repairedRetention ActivitiesLed and re-engaged with at-risk members, especially the high-risk members..Invite and add all members to the Members ForumLead and manage the Members Forum and ensure regular posting of Organic content for both Forum and PageSpearhead fitness activities and challenges in the clubPrepare and coordinate a competitive GX timetablePerformance management and checking the quality of GX ClassesDesigning and executing sales and marketing initiativesManagerial ResponsibilitiesRegularly conduct in-club training for the teamGoal set team members on achieving their targetPrepare and update management reportsConduct regular performance evaluations with the teamFacilitate performance improvement plan for struggling coachesRecruitment of new coaches when the need arisesJob Requirements and Qualifications: Excellent leadership, management, organizational, and sales skills Excellent customer service and promotional skills; energetic, enthusiastic, and motivationalAbility to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner Must have at least 2 years experience in a leadership position (Fitness Manager, Senior Personal Trainer, etc.)Must have first aid certification, Current CPR/AED certification, and any fitness-related certificationBachelor’s Degree in any medical-related field (Physical Therapy, Sports Science, Physical Education degrees are preferred)Professional certifications Able to navigate mobile and online resources (mobile, social media, Google, etc.)Can work in a sales-driven environment.
