Associate/AVP, Global Trading Unit – Fixed Income / FX Options TraderRelocation opportunity - my client is seeking a candidate to relocate from the London or European market to their offices in Singapore, where the business work on a 4 day in the office model. The chosen candidate will be offered a competitive relocation package.The Portfolio Execution Team includes multiple teams performing functions such as trade execution, funding and liquidity management, securities financing, and applied quantitative research. It comprises three sub-teams: the Global Trading Unit (GTU), the Balance Sheet Management Group (BMG), and the Applied Research Unit (ARU).The Global Trading Team serves as the primary point of contact for investment teams and external counterparties for all trading-related matters. The team operates across Singapore, London, and New York, executing trades across equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. GTU focuses on delivering timely market intelligence, leveraging technology and research to achieve best execution, and continuously enhancing trading processes through automated solutions, pre- and post-trade checks, and market surveillance.Role Overview – Execution TraderMy client are seeking a candidate with strong experience in fixed income trading, FX options, and derivatives, with analytical and programming skills, to join the team in Singapore.Responsibilities:Partner with portfolio management teams to manage execution risks and implement investment views across fixed income, including cash instruments and derivatives in DM/EM Rates, Credit, Securitized Products, Loans, Convertible Bonds, and FX.Synthesize market themes and produce actionable, differentiated insights for stakeholders.Collaborate with the Applied Research Unit (ARU) and Technology Group (TG) to extract insights from trading data, refine execution strategies, and enhance the trading technology suite.Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties and liquidity providers.Qualifications and Skills:2–5 years of relevant trading experience in APAC fixed income markets, including vanilla instruments and derivatives including FX Options.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Dynamic, self-motivated, pleasant, and team-oriented mindset.Ability to program in Python; strong analytical skills and interest in deriving insights from data are a plus.
