At Kilsaran, we are trusted by businesses and contractors alike to produce quality construction materials that are fundamental in the creation of our national infrastructure, including large commercial buildings, domestic and agricultural construction, office blocks and major road networks.We are currently looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Fitter from our location in Millennium Business Park Dublin for field service work in the greater Dublin area. The successful candidate will have responsibility for maintenance and repair of plant and machinery in an efficient and safety driven manner.Responsibilities:Maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment and ancillary machinery across seven locations in the Dublin area.Implementation of a plant wide preventative maintenance programme.Diagnosing Breakdowns and returning equipment to service in a timely manner to minimise downtime.Component rebuilds and testing, monitor and record spare part usage.Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times.Skills Required:Time Served or equivalent experience in a mechanical discipline.Basic Fabrication Skills Required.Two Years minimum experience within a relevant industry (quarry, sand & gravel, concrete, recycling or waste processing).Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.Practical knowledge of tooling and specialized equipment to conduct repairs on heavy equipmentPractical knowledge of rigging, slinging and jacking proceduresStrong planning and organizational mindset with the ability to work to tight deadlines.What You Get:Kilsaran is an organization that believes that our people are our greatest strength, and our success is down to the dedication and enthusiasm of our team.
