00Job ResponsibilitiesSupports the development and execution of the Finance risk and control environmentGuiding and reviewing policies and procedures, ensuring all key functions and controls are appropriately documented in accordance with applicable rules and regulationsFacilitating continuous monitoring, communication, and implementation of all applicable Risk Management and Compliance program changes, by impacted Finance teams, including processes/procedures and technologyCoordinating with 2nd line risk teams regarding Finance-owned policies and application of Corporate policies within FinanceSupport transparent internal/external audits and regulatory exams within FinanceSupport the management, and fulfillment of internal/external/regulatory testing activitiesFacilitate and monitor the management & completion of all tasks/responses/deliverables associated with assigned internal/external/regulatory activitiesCultivate and promote transparency across Finance with 2nd & 3rd lines, as well as regulatorsSupports Finance Business Line risk profile reporting and analysisDevelops and refines Risk and Compliance reporting for FinanceManages Risk reporting and communications for various levels of Finance managementParticipates and influences Risk Data Aggregation initiatives throughout first and second lines of defenseCross functional leadershipDemonstrate high level of collaboration and critical thinking to address problems and develop solutions as one organization, and spanning all areas of FinanceDrive culture of shared ownership, intentional action, and accountability for resultsCollaborate with other leaders and teams to assist in the continued development and evolution of the Finance division and the organizations 3 lines of defenseAdditional AccountabilitiesPerforms special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Job RequirementsEducation level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business or relatedMinimum experience required: 7+ Years of broad finance and risk management experience with increasing responsibility within the US retail banking system, including with regulatory compliance matters, bank finance, accounting, reporting, compliance, and control environments.
Experience working in a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd line risk role at a Category 4 or larger financial institution regulated by the OCCPreferred QualificationsEducation level preferred: Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business or relatedIndustry certifications (i. e. CPA, CIA, PMP, CERP, CRMP) a plusExperience and familiarity with Control frameworks, project management, and OCC & FRB guidanceJob CompetenciesHands-on team player with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
