Fleet SupervisorLocation: Baghdad, IraqEmployment Type: Full-timeIndustry: Logistics / Transportation / E-CommerceAbout the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Fleet Supervisor to oversee and manage our fleet operations in Baghdad. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supervising drivers, optimizing routes and shipments, monitoring performance, and ensuring that all service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. This role requires excellent coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDriver & Fleet ManagementSupervise and manage daily activities of drivers and delivery teams.Assign routes, plan schedules, and ensure efficient fleet utilization.Monitor driver performance, behavior, and compliance with company policies.Conduct regular briefings, performance evaluations, and training sessions.Shipment Optimization & RoutingPlan and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.Coordinate dispatching activities for timely delivery and pickup of shipments.Monitor traffic, weather, and operational conditions to adjust routes when needed.Monitoring & TrackingTrack each driver in real-time through GPS or fleet management systems.Ensure on-time departures, deliveries, and adherence to SLAs.Respond quickly to delays or issues to maintain service quality.Reporting & Performance AnalysisPrepare daily and weekly reports on fleet performance, SLAs, delivery times, fuel usage, and other KPIs.Identify operational problems and recommend corrective actions.Maintain accurate logs and documentation for compliance and auditing.Coordination & CommunicationWork closely with warehouse operations, customer service, and dispatch teams.Resolve issues related to delays, failed deliveries, or driver concerns.Maintain clear communication channels between management and drivers.Safety & ComplianceEnsure fleet operations comply with local transport regulations and company safety standards.Enforce driver safety protocols and conduct regular vehicle and equipment checks.Qualifications & Requirements3+ years of experience in fleet supervision, transportation management, or logistics.Strong knowledge of routing, dispatching, and delivery operations.Ability to manage and motivate drivers in a fast-paced environment.Experience using fleet tracking systems and monitoring tools.Strong reporting, analytical, and organizational skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and handle operational challenges.
