Operations Manager – E-Commerce WarehouseLocation: Baghdad, IraqEmployment Type: Full-timeIndustry: E-Commerce / Logistics / FulfillmentSalary: To be discussed during the interview processAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and scale our e-commerce warehouse operations in Baghdad. This role covers the full logistics cycle, including first-mile collection, warehouse operations, and last-mile distribution. The ideal candidate has strong experience in high-volume fulfillment environments and a deep understanding of modern e-commerce warehouse workflows.Our current operation processes around 5,000 packages per day, with a target to scale up to 50,000 packages per day. We are looking for a leader who can build efficient systems, manage large teams, and ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Fulfillment OperationsOversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound (first mile), processing, and outbound (last mile).Develop and improve SOPs aligned with high-volume e-commerce fulfillment best practices.Ensure accurate and timely order processing to meet daily targets.Team Leadership & Workforce ManagementLead and manage warehouse supervisors, staff, drivers, and delivery teams.Plan and adjust manpower needs based on daily volume and seasonal peaks.Reports, KPIs & Operational PerformanceTrack and report key performance metrics such as productivity, picking accuracy, SLA compliance, delivery performance, and cost control.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational errors.Logistics & DistributionOversee last-mile delivery activities to ensure on-time and complete deliveries.Coordinate first-mile collections with vendors and partners.Optimize delivery routes, transportation resources, and distribution processes.Customer Satisfaction & Cross-Team CoordinationWork closely with the call center and customer service teams to resolve customer issues promptly.Develop proactive measures to reduce complaints and improve service quality.Quality, Safety & ComplianceMaintain high standards in inventory accuracy, quality control, and workplace safety.Ensure all operations comply with internal policies and local regulations.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce, logistics, warehouse management, or fulfillment center operations.Experience managing large-scale operations (5K–50K packages/day).Strong understanding of high-volume warehouse workflows and optimization.Excellent analytical, organizational, and data-driven decision-making skills.Experience working with KPIs, dashboards, and operational reporting tools.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of WMS systems is an advantage.Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.
