Unique Destination Travel Network is seeking to hire a #Flight_Ticketing_OfficerJob Title: Flight_Ticketing_Officer (Ex, Travel and Tourism Companies) 📍 Location: Saudi Arabia – (Makkah)🕒 Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the role:The Ticketing Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of flight reservations and ticket issuance for Hajj pilgrims. This includes coordinating group bookings with airlines, ensuring accurate mapping of tickets to Pilgrims, and maintaining strict reconciliation and record-keeping of all tickets issued. The role is central to delivering a seamless travel experience while ensuring compliance with airline, financial, and company procedures.Key Responsibilities:Send and manage flight reservation requests with designated airlines and consolidators.Track confirmations and ensure accurate mapping of flights to Hujjaj profiles.Verify booking details (names, passport numbers, travel dates, routes) against pilgrim manifests.Issue tickets for confirmed bookings within agreed timelines.Handle re-issuances, exchanges, or cancellations in compliance with airline policies.Maintain accurate ticketing and PNR records in the system.Reconcile issued tickets against supplier invoices and company records.Maintain a clear and up-to-date account of all tickets issued, refunded, or canceled.Work closely with Finance to ensure timely settlements and accurate reporting.Liaise with airlines to resolve any booking discrepancies, schedule changes, or ticketing issues.Work closely with the operations team to ensure flight details are updated in pilgrim itineraries.Provide timely updates on flight schedules, changes, and ticket statuses to internal teams.Ensure all ticketing activities comply with IATA, GDS, and airline regulations.Generate flight, ticketing, and reconciliation reports for management.Support audits by maintaining accurate records of issued tickets and related accounts.Provide accurate flight and ticketing information to Hujjaj support teams.Assist with special requests (e.g., group seating, wheelchair assistance, excess baggage).Job RequirementsQualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, Business, Accounting, or related field.3–5 years of experience in airline ticketing or travel agency operations.Strong background in group bookings and financial reconciliation (preferably in Hajj/Umrah operations).A Saudi Citizen is a must.Proficiency with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar).Knowledge of IATA ticketing rules, fare calculations, and airline regulations.Familiarity with reconciliation processes for ticketing.
