Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Supervisor to lead the front-of-house team at an upscale Italian café/restaurant in Dubai. This beautifully designed venue showcases Italian elegance, refined dining service, and a relaxed-yet-luxurious atmosphere (non-alcoholic service only). As Floor Supervisor, you will oversee operations, set the tone for guest experience and team performance, and ensure the dining environment delivers on our promise of sophistication and hospitality.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily front-of-house operations: table allocation, guest flow, staffing levels, service timing.Lead, coach and motivate the service team to maintain and elevate service standards (greeting, menu knowledge, upselling, guest-relations).Ensure guest satisfaction: proactively engage guests, handle feedback/complaints, ensure seamless guest experience.Collaborate with kitchen and management to coordinate service flow, special requests, menu transitions and operational efficiency.Maintain impeccable presentation of dining area: service stations, table settings, banquettes, décor and cleanliness.Monitor team attendance, performance metrics (service speed, guest feedback, average spend), staff grooming and adherence to brand standards.Assist in inventory tracking for front-of-house supplies (linen, serviceware), support cost control and assist in monthly reporting of FOH operations.Uphold brand ethos of “understated luxury” and Italian hospitality in every guest interaction.Requirements:Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory role in a premium café, fine-dining restaurant or hotel F&B environment.Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and guest-engagement abilities.Deep understanding of Italian cuisine service or premium dining service, ideally with experience in an Italian-themed concept.High level of presentation, confidence and ability to adapt to a sophisticated guest profile.Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian or another European language is a plus.Comfortable working within a non-alcoholic service model, focusing on dining, mocktails and high-end hospitality experiences.Flexible to work shifts including evenings and weekends in a high-volume environment.
