JOB PURPOSEResponsible for ensuring exceptional level of customer service at all stages, from the welcoming, through service and until the guests' departure from the coffee shop. Responsible for day to day running of the coffee shop and ensure areas are clean and well maintained. Responsible for ensuring guests are greeted and accommodated in a friendly professional manner.ACCOUNTABILITIESKey Accountabilities Operations: Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving beverages to guests in accordance with company standards. Promote and recommend menu options to customers while serving full range of services related to coffee shop such as serving food items such as soups, sandwiches and pastries. Maintain the chiller temperature and log to ensure food quality. Payment Management: Take payment from customers and maintain an accurate cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift. Handle payments and float in accordance with company standards.Controls: Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning at all times. Removes dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning. Checks with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and takes action to correct any problems. Timely inform management in if there is any requirements for repairs for machinery. Hygiene: Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized. Arrange table setup according to customer requirements. Ensure availability and condition of common utensils and equipment's used.
