Designed by people who’ve worked in the field, JobBuddy empowers construction professionals to spend less time managing admin and more time building.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Founding Business Development Representative (BDR). As one of the first go-to-market hires at JobBuddy, you’ll have the opportunity to grow alongside the founding team and help shape our sales strategy from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, generating new business opportunities, and driving outreach across multiple channels.This role is ideal for someone who’s hungry to learn, ready to take ownership, and excited to grow into a leadership position as the team scales. You’ll work directly with the founders to refine our outbound playbook, build relationships with contractors and construction businesses, and play a key role in driving JobBuddy’s early traction and revenue.Qualifications2–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or a related roleProficiency in Inside Sales and Lead GenerationStrong communication skills and ability to build authentic relationshipsExperience in Sales, Business Development, or Account ManagementHighly goal-oriented, self-motivated, and excited by the idea of joining an early-stage startupExcellent organizational and time management skillsExperience in the technology, construction, or startup sector is an assetBonus: experience in both trades and sales — you understand the industry and how to sell within itBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
