This is an opportunity to shape both the product and the organization from the ground up. About the RoleJoin as a Founding Engineer and play a defining role in building a platform that helps nonprofits raise more funds and expand their impact.You’ll help define and grow the engineering culture, fostering learning, ownership, and purpose. You’ll take full responsibility in an early-stage environment, shaping both the product and the technical foundation. This is a rare opportunity to help build a high-impact platform from 0 to 1.You’ll design and deliver end-to-end product experiences using modern technologies, including scalable backends, RAG pipelines, and intuitive React/Next.js frontends that make complex workflows simple.You’ll collaborate directly with the founding team and customers to translate real user needs into elegant, data-driven solutions integrating AI and LLM capabilities that deliver tangible value. What We’re Looking ForProven ability to build scalable web applications end-to-end, balancing speed and maintainabilityFrontend: Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript for responsive, performant UIsBackend: Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., Firebase, Supabase, or similar) for APIs, authentication, and real-time dataLanguages: Proficient in TypeScript (frontend/fullstack) and Python (backend, data, AI integration)Data pipelines & scraping: Experience with Scrapy, Playwright, or similar tools; familiarity with AI-assisted scraping is a plusRAG & LLMs: Practical experience implementing retrieval-augmented generation or other LLM-based workflows using frameworks such as LangChain or DSPy; fine-tuning is a plusMachine Learning: Solid understanding of ML fundamentals and experience integrating ML/LLM outputs into production systemsCloud experience: Deployment experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure, plus familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelinesTesting & optimization: Strong testing discipline and familiarity with tools for optimizing model and prompt performance (e.g., DSPy)Security: Knowledge of best practices across authentication, data storage, and API designExperience: 2–5+ years of professional software development experience in either frontend, backend or fullstackEducation: MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience What We OfferCompetitive salary and equity: Copenhagen-based candidates can expect a target salary of 420,000–700,000 DKK per year, plus equity (depending on qualifications, experience, and ambition)Meaningful impact: Work with inspiring nonprofit organizations and help them amplify their positive social outcomesEarly-stage growth & learning: Join a fast-growing startup with a steep learning curve and strong potential for rapid advancementAmbitious, mission-driven culture: Contribute to a purpose-led team where your work truly matters
