Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, conducting variance analyses, consolidating performance reports for senior leaders, managing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting budgeting efforts. You'll also enhance reporting tools, maintain product hierarchies, oversee financial calendars, and assist during audits, requiring both technical expertise and strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across regions. Review and consolidate month-end profit and loss projections to ensure data accuracy.Prepare and post month-end journals, focusing on net sales figures and accruals.Manage stock write-off provisions and other accounting adjustments as needed.Conduct variance analysis on monthly results, identifying trends and providing commentary for leadership.Create and consolidate monthly performance decks with insights for executive presentations.Load forecast data into systems for quarterly submissions and manage trade spend activities.Maintain control files for system reconciliation to quickly identify discrepancies.Oversee the financial calendar by consolidating risk and opportunity submissions with detailed commentary.Handle monthly reconciliations for rebate accruals, marketing accruals, prepayments, and provide forecasts for working capital planning.Serve as the main contact for auditors during audits, offering expertise on rebate accruals and financial systems.What you bring: To succeed as a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, you need experience managing complex financial processes across multiple units, including month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, audit support, and reporting frameworks. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building trust with colleagues at all levels, even remotely or across time zones. Your analytical mindset ensures accurate data interpretation, while attention to detail prevents errors. Adaptability is crucial, allowing you to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while delivering solutions that benefit both your team and the organization.
