We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.Role OverviewThis role is focused on managing portfolios' key risk indicators (i.e. fraud, chargeback, returns, etc.) performance within a dynamic, growth-oriented financial institution. Responsibilities include interpreting large quantities of data for on-going reviews, in-depth investigations, documenting and communicating with clients on performance and suggesting contingency plans for ongoing risk issues.About The Qualifications3-4 years of experience in payments managing fraud risk.Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, economics, information systems, finance, or other relevant fields.Excellent communication skills.A critical thinker and problem solver with strong attention to detail.Analytically inclined.Comfortable with Excel macros.Adept at turning data into clear reports and insights.About The Day-to-DayDiving into fraud analytics, pulling and collating data from various dashboards and using your analytical skills to identify trends and highlight risks for further investigation. Create reports and presentations outlining fraud and chargeback performance for clients.Provide risk recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.Conduct regular touchpoint meetings with clients.Conduct investigations on suspicious activity, including preparing investigative reports with findings and recommendations gathered from analysis of account history and source documents.Constantly learning and adapting to new processes, procedures, products, and clients within a fast-paced environment.About UsPeoples Group is a boutique financial institution with offices located in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal that has been in the Canadian marketplace for over 35 years.
