The Wealth Finance team works closely with the business and TDBG’s centralized financial expertise to provide quality expertise and advice to their Wealth Management clients, consistent with overall TDBG's financial strategy and objectives. As part of TD Wealth Finance, the DI Finance team provides dedicated finance support to the Direct Investing business.Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Group Manager, DI Finance, this role will be focused on supporting the Wealth Direct Investing team's management reporting by working with the Finance Manager through standard month end activities, along with the forecasting and planning function where they will work closely with the lead Finance Manager to manage model updates and coordinating business inputs.Participate in process improvements, data analytics, ad hoc requests, and projects/initiatives to meet business requirements. Assist with building reporting to help monitor progress against new initiatives within the business as well as support with competitive analysis of TD DI across relevant revenue and operating metrics.Help to enhance our visibility and monitoring of important business operating metrics including NAG, Trades per Day, FTE and discretionary expenses among others to keep a close pulse on business performance.Contribute to simplifying and automating existing processes.Provide input for monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting and annual planning.Participate in both the annual business plan and financial forecast cycles.Produce, improve, and build dashboards with financial and operational KPIs to track and assess business performance. Participate in and support the evaluation of business initiative and campaigns, including the identification and analysis of supporting data.Act as subject matter expert for own area. Provide guidance, advice, and recommendations to support dealings with partners.Job RequirementsStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal).Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners.Understanding of financial accounting processes and internal control structures.Experience evaluating business issues, identifying potential solutions and implementing action to resolve issues.Detail-oriented while still able to synthesize issues and present concise concepts and solutions.Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Power Point, Hyperion, EPM and Oracle would be an asset.Education and AccreditationUniversity/College education with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business5+ years of relevant experienceBusiness and/or accounting designation (MBA/CFA/CPA) would be an assetWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
