In your role you will both help grow our company brand with a unique voice and develop creative communications strategies and content for our projects with multinationals and global philanthropies. General ConditionsLocation: remote within Europe or in Berlin/Munich Contract Format: Freelance engagementStart: As soon as possibleTravel: openness to project-based travel requiredScope of ResponsibilitiesWe seek your support in the following key areas:Communication StrategyShaping communication strategies for our impact-first projects Help establish and grow new programme and initiative brands with impact-first narratives and strong storytelling roadmapsCreative Content/StorytellingDevelop unique stories that put impact and people at their center Support visibility and thought leadership of YSI and our projects through creative online communication/campaigning and PR/media relationsCreating and publishing creative social media content, from written narratives to creating your own graphics or small social media videosSupporting our online Community Management (upon specific request) Writing copy and stories across our digital channels on a continuous basis and based on a quantifiable content plan Your ProfileYou love building new ideas and putting bold dreams and visions into inspiring and accessible words. You move comfortably between strategy and execution, and you thrive in a multicultural, purpose-driven team that believes communication can serve social innovation.Your Experience & SkillsNative or native-level English skillsUniversity degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent practical work experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in communications roles and projects within dynamic, fast-paced environmentsProven track record in communications consulting and creative communications Experience in designing communication strategies for a multitude of projects Strong creative writing and storytelling skills for digital and social media as well as copywriting for campaignsExperience in collaborating with designers and other creative disciplinesStrong organizational and multitasking skillsHigh engagement, efficiency, and proactiveness in delivery and dialogue with senior stakeholdersHigh level of personal integrity, team spirit, and alignment with organizational valuesPassion for and literacy in key topic areas such as purpose, social impact, and sustainabilityWhat we bring to the TableImpact: Working with YSI means being part of an impact-first organisation where every project contributes to a larger mission.
