Freelance Illustrator – Children’s Book Project

This role is for a talented illustrator to bring a children’s picture book, Practice Makes Progress, to life. The story celebrates perseverance, diversity, and creative growth, featuring children from various backgrounds engaging in music, martial arts, painting, performing, and science. The visual tone is warm, painterly, and cinematic, with softly glowing lighting and gentle ribbons of light connecting each spread. The ideal candidate will create expressive, kind faces and natural body language, ensuring a consistent visual style throughout the book. The project includes 10 spreads (16x8” each) and a finished cover illustration for an 8x8” square hardcover format.
