Freelance Supply Chain Specialist - Natural Skincare (Remote, Mexico Based)

We’re looking for a Mexico-based Freelance Supply Chain Specialist to support sourcing and vendor coordination for packaging and raw materials. This role has the potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance.What You’ll DoSource and evaluate packaging and raw material suppliers (US domestic + international)Request, collect, and organize supplier quotes (RFQs)Manage sample requests, tracking, and delivery timelinesCommunicate with suppliers through email, WhatsApp, and phoneTrack lead times, follow up proactively, and ensure timely deliveryMaintain organized documentation (pricing, MOQs, certifications, terms)Identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvementsSupport production and operations with supply chain updatesBuild alternative supplier options to de-risk the supply chainMust-Have QualificationsBased in Mexico (required)Excellent English — near-native written and verbal2+ years in supply chain, procurement, vendor management, or sourcingExperience in cosmetics/skincare, CPG, or packaging strongly preferredStrong communication and follow-throughComfortable managing multiple suppliers at onceHighly organized with strong attention to detailProficient in Google Sheets / ExcelAbility to work independently in a remote environmentAble to work with U.S. time zones (at least 3–4 hours overlap with Eastern Time)Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience sourcing in LATAM, US, or AsiaKnowledge of packaging materials, sustainability options, or raw ingredientsFamiliarity with NDAs, contracts, and supplier termsExperience with project tools (Asana, Trello, Monday, Notion)Role DetailsFreelance / Independent contractor (hourly or project-based)Remote (must be physically located in Mexico)Flexible scheduleOpportunity for long-term or full-time employment based on performanceHow to ApplyPlease submit:Your English resumeA brief note describing your supply chain or procurement experienceAny packaging or raw material sourcing experience you’ve hadYour city and availability
