We’re a vibrant, curious, and courageous learning community where over 1,200 students from 67 nationalities come together to explore, create, and grow.We're looking for a Front Office Assistant who is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment and providing exceptional support to all.This is a full-time position.The RoleAs Front Office Assistant at our Zug Campus, you will:Provide students with a point of contact Update and maintain students attendance, files and school databases to ensure accurate student detailsEnsure security procedures are followed for students’ arrivals and departures Update ISZL’s monitor displays with messages, current activities and upcoming eventsProvide general administrative support pertaining to the daily running of the Zug CampusUpdate emergency preparedness documentsPerform a variety of clerical tasks which may include scheduling and maintaining records of school activities, creating labels, photocopying, typing, data input, sorting mail, sending letters and packages, making file folders and answering emailsManage Petty Cash for the Front OfficeProvide verbal and written translations, when requiredCoordinate with the Middle School and High School OfficeDevelop positive relationships with ISZL’s community members and be a positive representative of the schoolManage ISZL’s main office email accountProduce official documents for local authorities and parents with students enrolment informationScreen telephone calls, enquiries and requests by handling and forwarding them as appropriateGreet and assist visitors, ensuring appropriate sheets are filled in and badges assignedWhat we’re looking forExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German are essential (any additional language is an added value)Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a wide variety of peopleExceptional customer service and problem solvingProficiency in using standard office suites for business such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace and demonstrated knowledge of database maintenanceEffective clerical, organisational and time-management skillsAble to maintain confidentiality at all timesQuick learner, able to use appropriate initiative, resourceful, reliable, detail-oriented and versatileEager to take on new challenges and lend a helping handAbility to manage a variety of tasks concurrently and efficiently Successful experience in working effectively as part of a teamAbility to be self-directed and work with minimal supervisionWhy ISZL?Because ISZL is more than a school.
