We believe in fostering an environment where talented people can innovate, grow, and have fun.What will you be doing?You'll shape the look, feel, and performance of our customer-facing products by transforming design concepts into high-quality, intuitive interfaces that work seamlessly across all devices. You'll collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Quality Assurance Analysts to design, develop, test, and refine features that help our partners raise vital funds—while contributing to UI/UX decisions, code quality, and our engineering standards.What Your Day-to-Day Will Look LikeDesign and build responsive, accessible user interfaces; translate UX/UI designs into high-quality, maintainable codeImplement interactive features that deliver smooth, intuitive experiences across devices and browsersOptimise front-end performance for fast load times and scalabilityWrite clean, well-tested code and participate in constructive code reviewsCollaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Quality Analysts to plan, build, and ship featuresTroubleshoot and resolve front-end issues promptlyMaintain clear technical documentation for features, components, and systemsContribute to the continuous improvement of front-end tooling and best practicesSupport and mentor less experienced engineers (where applicable to your experience level)What You’ll Be Able to Bring to the RoleSolid commercial experience (mid–senior level) as a Front-End or UI Engineer building complex web applicationsStrong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript with contemporary frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue)Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and mobile-first principlesExperience translating designs into accessible, pixel-perfect, performant interfacesKnowledge of cross-browser compatibility and front-end performance optimisationExperience writing clean, testable code using front-end testing tools (unit, integration, or end-to-end)Comfort working in collaborative, cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time managementClear communication skills—explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersA growth mindset and openness to continuous learning and feedbackFor senior candidates: proven mentoring experience and contributions to technical standardsSalary Banding: $130,000 - $150,000 + SuperOur Ways of WorkingAt Jumbo, we value balance and flexibility.
