Tickmill offers a competitive benefits package, team-building events, and many opportunities for professional growth.What does the job look like?The Front-End Developer (React) will have the opportunity to:Follow approved life cycle methodologies, participate in planning, retrospectives, demos and daily stand-ups.Develop application UI components which are highly optimized, visually appealing and easy to maintain.Perform thorough unit and functional testing of the code to ensure high quality bug free codeSupport and maintain the existing systems and processes.Maintain a collaborative, problem solving attitude and coordinate with the rest of the IT Team working on the company’s microservices architecture.Interact with the Front-End Technical Team Lead to understand technology direction/changes, standards and best practices.Collaborate with Product Management team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.What will you need to be able to do the job?Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.Experience of using CSS stylesheet languages (SASS) and libraries such as Bootstrap/Foundation.Excellent understanding of React.js and its core principles.Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).Experience with RESTful APIs.Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.Knowledge of browser testing, debugging, benchmarking and optimization.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.Good understanding, awareness of usability, accessibility, cross browser issues.Proficiency with agile development methodologies.Proficiency with Git (Bitbucket) is an advantage.Proficient in English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience within the financial markets Industry on a similar IT field.By joining us, you can expect: A Unique Opportunity for a career in a global, fast-growing company.Attractive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience.Opportunities to learn and grow through our “Employee Training & Development program”.Health Insurance.Multiple events to bond with the team and the group.Birthday and Loyalty benefits.What to expect from our recruitment process:First interview with hiring managers or an HR callTask assessmentTechnical Interview or home assignmentFinal interview with top managementMake your next Career step and apply NOW!*Due to the great number of applications, we receive for each of our open vacancies, we are unable to respond on an individual basis.
