FTTH Network Designer

About the RoleM.Design is seeking a motivated and experienced FTTH Network Designer to join our growing telecom and GIS team in Tanger, Morocco.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating fiber optic (FTTH) networks, directly contributing to the rollout and quality of broadband infrastructure projects for our clients.As an FTTH Designer, you play a key role at the start of each network delivery — transforming technical and field data into accurate, cost-effective, and build-ready network designs. You’ll work closely with internal engineers, survey teams, and international partners to ensure every design meets technical standards and design rules.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign and validate FTTH networks following technical and design guidelinesPrepare LLD (Low-Level Design) deliverables, including fiber routing, equipment layout, and configurations.Optimize network designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Produce and maintain detailed design and execution documentation.Review and analyze street survey data to ensure technical feasibility.Collaborate with deployment and construction teams to manage design files and resolve field discrepancies.Maintain daily progress tracking and support project coordination.Use GIS tools (ArcGIS / QGIS) for data processing, validation, and visualization.Contribute to process improvement and ensure high data and delivery quality standards.Your ProfileProven experience as an FTTH Designer or Network Engineer within the telecom sector.Strong expertise of AutoCAD and ArcGIS (required).Experience with Comsof Fiber Designer is an assetPython experience or scripting ability is considered an advantage.Strong understanding of FTTH network architecture, infrastructure, and technologies.Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and accountable in your work.Excellent communication skills and team spirit.Fluent in English (spoken & written); knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage.Based in Tanger, Morocco.What We OfferFull-time position with permanent contract in Tanger.Competitive salary package based on experience.Health insurance and other local benefits.Opportunities for career growth within an international, innovative, and agile engineering environment.Work alongside a multidisciplinary telecom and GIS team supporting European network design projects.Continuous learning and professional development in advanced FTTH technologies.
