Responsibilities: Rapidly assess a hybrid IT landscape, including: Azure workloads, on-prem data centers, network infrastructure, workplace services, and ITSM toolingIdentify and document all in-scope workloads and responsibilities for handover: Azure IaaS/PaaS, AAD, monitoring, backup/DR, operational ownership, and governance processesLead a small internal transition team to manage:
Knowledge transfer, process documentation, service ownership mapping, and operational readinessCoordinate a structured transition to the provider, ensuring: Stability, compliance, risk control, and continuity of serviceAct as transition control tower, managing stakeholders, tracking progress, resolving blockers, and supporting the CIO/CISO throughoutRequirements: 10+ years in IT infrastructure and operations with deep Azure capabilitiesProven experience leading outsourcing, carve-out, or managed services transitions with Tier-1 providersStrong understanding of Azure governance, security, service integration, and cost controlExcellent communication and coordination skills across technical and executive layersBackground in regulated industries (e. g. , energy, utilities, industrial) is a strong plusGerman fluency is a nice-to-have.
