The responsibilities of this position includes developing high quality, maintainable software, as well as participating in all aspects of the solution from conception to deployment. At the same time, our culture encourages you to create innovative solutions and gives you the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest in the industry.Minimum Qualifications:B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentPassionate about developing high quality software in a distributed team environment4+ years of experience with web standards: HTML, CSS, JS2+ years of experience with NodeJS and related technologies.Hands-on experience in programming languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C#Hands-on experience on SQL databases like SQL server, PostgreSQL, SQLLite, InfluxDB4+ years of experience with API development and integrationTranslating designs and wireframes into high quality codeProficiency in software engineering toolsExperience with test-driven developmentPreferred Qualifications:UX and UI understanding and use of best practicesExperience in designing and developing applications on public clouds (e.g. AWS,Azure)Experience with Dockers based containers and Kubernetes based orchestration systemAbout Picarro:We are the world's leader in timely, trusted, and actionable data using enhanced optical spectroscopy.
