Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend and frontend systems, building scalable cloud-native applications, and integrating innovative technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our infrastructure. If you are passionate about solving complex engineering challenges, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a deep understanding of building scalable backend solutions, we’d love to meet you.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a monolithic web application using PHP (CodeIgniter or Laravel), MySQL, and jQuery.Implement server-side business logic and database structures to support integrated application features.Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using jQuery, HTML, and CSS.Deploy, manage, and maintain application servers on DigitalOcean or Vultr, including setup, configuration, and performance monitoring.Optimize database queries and application logic for performance and scalability.Ensure application security, data consistency, and adherence to coding best practices.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments, including performance bottlenecks and errors.Collaborate with product stakeholders and internal teams to implement new features and improvements end-to-end.Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality, well-documented, and maintainable code.Continuously enhance the existing system and recommend technical improvements when needed.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Fullstack or Backend Engineer building web applications.Strong proficiency in PHP, particularly with CodeIgniter (or similar MVC PHP frameworks).Solid experience working with MySQL, including complex queries, indexing, and optimization.Hands-on experience with jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap 5 for frontend implementation within an integrated monolith system.Experience deploying, configuring, and managing applications on DigitalOcean or Vultr (including Linux server management, SSL, backups, and security hardening).Understanding of caching strategies and performance optimization in monolithic applications.Familiarity with version control using Git and standard development workflows.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail and maintainability.Knowledge of security best practices in web application development.Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and other engineering stakeholders.
