At Faye, we believe in growing together, having fun along the way, and making every day count.What We're Looking ForFaye is looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our core R&D team. You will be a key player in building our innovative travel insurance platform, taking ownership of features from the database all the way to the user interface. While the role is approximately 70% Backend focused, you will have a significant impact on our frontend architecture and user experience.You’ll be joining a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where you will solve complex technical challenges, optimize for high scalability, and help shape the future of travel tech.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain high-scale backend services and APIs (Node.js/TypeScript).Build responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing web interfaces using React.js.Take full ownership of features end-to-end: from architecture and database design to frontend implementation.Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into high-quality code.Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high engineering standards.Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices to continuously improve our stack.Requirements:4+ years of professional software development experience.Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.Proficiency in React.js and its core principles.Deep understanding of database design and building scalable distributed systems.Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex codebases.A “get things done” mindset with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic startup environment.Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
