Full Stack Software Engineer – AI Onboarding Start-Up (Fully-Remote | UK/Europe Timezone | Must Have Right to Work in Indonesia | Competitive Salary)We’re an early-stage AI start-up building a new category: an AI-powered onboarding agent for SaaS companies. We have strong backing from Antler, a Singapore-based VC and are beginning to scale our team.With our MVP already live, we’re now searching for a Full Stack Engineer to join the core team – someone ambitious, technically exceptional, and ready to help build the company from the ground up. This is a 6-month contract role with a pathway into a full-time role.Kulu’s mission is to reinvent how SaaS companies onboard their users. Backed by venture capital and with a clear product roadmap, we’re moving fast to shape how onboarding looks in the AI era.TasksYou’ll work closely with the founding team to:Build and enhance both frontend and backend components of the productIntegrate AI features into real-time onboarding workflowsContribute to scalable architecture, deployment, and testingHelp shape and deliver new features that push the boundaries of web automation and onboardingRequirementsWe’re looking for a full stack engineer with proven, hands-on expertise across our stack, and the ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-moving environment:4+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack products end-to-endStrong fundamentals in Python, TypeScript, and database designProven track record of shipping in fast-paced, product-driven environmentsHands-on experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into production workflowsAI-native developer: you already code daily with Cursor, Claude, Windsurf, or similar tools to move fasterAble to jump between frontend, backend, SDKs, infra, and live debugging — thriving on variety and context-switchingSuper fast learnerWeb automation experience (e.g., Puppeteer, Playwright, or DOM-level scripting) is a strong plusOther key requirements:Strong english language proficiencyWillingness to match UK timezoneWillingness to relocate to Bali in the future where we plan to establish a permanent engineering officeTech StackFrontend: JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Vite (or similar). Ability to design scalable, reusable SDK components. Experience with DOM interaction and web automation (e.g., Puppeteer, Playwright).Backend: Python (FastAPI), building and scaling production-grade APIs (REST, WebSockets).
