Position Title: Senior Full Stack Java DeveloperLocation: Dunwoody, GA or Lafayette, LA (Hybrid – 3-4 days onsite)Position Status: Contract Position Description:We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a dynamic and fast-paced technology team in either Dunwoody, GA or Lafayette, LA. This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting complex, high-impact applications that drive key business operations. You’ll work across the full stack—developing scalable backend services, intuitive front-end interfaces, and containerized cloud solutions that support enterprise systems.As a senior developer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and help modernize platforms through automation, CI/CD, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, brings deep technical knowledge, and can balance hands-on coding with high-level problem-solving. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java, React, Node.js, and REST APIs.Develop and optimize backend services and database integrations (SQL, GraphQL).Build, test, and deploy scalable containerized solutions using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS (EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, Beanstalk).Write and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.Conduct unit, component, and performance testing using frameworks such as Jest, JMeter, Insomnia, SoapUI, and Postman.Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver secure, high-performing solutions.Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.Troubleshoot production issues and support system improvements in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills/Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.8–10 years of full stack development experience with a focus on backend development.Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and RESTful API development.Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).Cloud experience with AWS (EKS, S3, SQS, SNS preferred); open to Azure or GCP backgrounds.Solid understanding of SQL databases, version control systems (GitHub/GitLab), and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with testing frameworks and performance testing tools.Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
