Reporting to our Head of Software Development, you will work within a small but dedicated development team to build and maintain existing web and back-end applications. This is a permanent full-time role, to be carried out in our office, with the exception of working from home each Friday. Develop front-end and back-end code to support our web applications and back of house operationsCollaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify objectivesWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of our architect and senior developersParticipate and assist our test team with testing of software changes, identifying and resolving bugs, and ensuring applications are stable and functional prior to deploymentWork in an Agile team environment, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updatesThis opportunity would suit a C# developer with 3+ year experience developing web application and back-end on-prem and cloud native software.  What you’ll bring to the role:Skills & Experience:Minimum 3+ years experience in C#/.NETStrong experience with Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL and developing DB solutions within a RDMSExperience in front-end development including HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, experience working with React, Typescript and other front-end frameworks (highly regarded)Experience in Entity Framework or comparable ORM frameworksExperience with version control systems like GitKnowledge and understanding developing cloud native solutions within Azure (Highly regarded)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experiencePersonal Attributes:Passionate about developing great software and continuously improving technical skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work A collaborative team player with good communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated with a positive, can-do attitudeWillingness to ask questions, take initiative, and learn from constructive feedback.Able to work independently when needed while also contributing to a supportive team culture.Strong time management, organisational and oral & written communication skillsComfortable working within the gaming industryWhy you need to work for us:We are an exciting fast growing, Australian owned and operated businessAs the official Principal Partner with NRL’s Gold Coast Titans and as the official Lottery Partner of the AFL’s Gold Coast Suns we have lots of exciting benefits, including but not limited to, access to free tickets to any home games played at CBUS stadium or People First Stadium on the Gold Coast!We have our own Charity fund, where a portion of each individual sale is given back to Australian charity and Community groups to benefit those in needYou can join us in our community activitiesMonthly and yearly Recognition & Rewards programs, and performance incentivesModern, spacious, open-plan office conveniently located across from Robina train station with stunning views across the Gold Coast skyline, walking distance to Robina Town Centre!Small, friendly and very supportive teamIf you would like to join us and be part of a committed, talented and successful team where you can make a big difference, then this is the role for you.Only applicants located in Australia need apply - Working from home Fridays only.Please note: Applicants must not be subject to work limitations, must have the ability to work beyond six months, and be willing to complete a mandatory police check.
