IP Network Engineer

Required Skills & Experience7+ years of experience in IP Networking, with at least 3+ years focused on BNG platforms (Cisco ASR9k, Nokia 7750, or equivalent).Strong understanding of BNG concepts – subscriber sessions, DHCP, PPPoE, QoS, IPoE, Policy Control, and Multicast.Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-XR and/or Nokia SR OS platforms.Practical exposure to test and traffic tools such as Ixia, Spirent, or equivalent.Working knowledge of network automation tools – NetConf, YANG models, Cisco NSO, Ansible, or Python-based frameworks.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex network testing scenarios.Experience in design reviews, configuration audits, and validation for large-scale Service Provider networks.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Good to HaveCertifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Nokia NRS II, or equivalent.Familiarity with BNG virtualization, SRv6, and cloud-native networking.Experience in Optus or other Tier-1 Service Provider environments.Exposure to test automation pipelines using Jenkins or CI/CD frameworks.
