Linux Administrator📍 Location: Canberra, Australia🕑 Contract: 6 Months (Possible Extension)🔒 Clearance: Must hold NV2 Security ClearanceRole Overview:We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to manage and support enterprise Linux environments. The role involves ensuring system stability, security, and performance while supporting day-to-day operations and project activities.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers.Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and reliability.Apply system patches, updates, and security controls.Troubleshoot server, network, and application issues.Automate routine administration tasks and maintain documentation.Work closely with IT and security teams on infrastructure initiatives.Key Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, or similar).Strong scripting and automation experience (Bash, Python, or Ansible).Good understanding of networking and virtualization.Experience with system monitoring and backup tools.
