More Information Address Harbin, China Qualification Masters Discipline Language, Writing & Culture Recruitment Status ActiveFull-time English Teacher VacancyQualifications And RequirementsAge: 23 to 55 years old.Language: Native English speakers are preferred, specifically those from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand.Education:A Master’s degree or higher is required.A TESOL/CELTA/TEFL certification is also required, unless you hold a Bachelor’s degree in either Education or English.Experience:Applicants must have two years of teaching experience, or possess a TESOL/CELTA/TEFL certification.Contract and Work DetailsContract: A one-year contract is offered, with renewal options based on an annual performance evaluation.Job Description: Responsibilities include: classroom teaching, student tutoring, paper/essay revision, organizing extracurricular activities, and developing courses tailored to the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students.Workload: The standard workload is 16 teaching hours (equivalent to eight 2×50 minute lessons) plus 4 hours of student tutoring per week.Compensation And BenefitsYearly Salary (RMB):Salary is determined by relevant qualifications and teaching experience.The yearly salary ranges from ¥134,300 to ¥145,300 (RMB).Master’s degree holders start at ¥134,300 per year.PhD holders start at ¥145,300 per year.Paid Holidays/Vacation: Teachers receive the same paid summer and winter vacations and public holidays as the rest of the teaching staff at HIT. This includes New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qing-Ming Festival, International Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Chinese National Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, and any other holidays stipulated by Chinese laws and regulations.
