This is an excellent opportunity for security professionals who value professionalism, teamwork, and community service in a hospital environment.Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of hospital premises including parking areas, entrances, patient floors, and restricted zones Monitor security systems, cameras, and alarms, reporting and responding to suspicious activity immediately Manage hospital access points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter secured areas Respond swiftly to emergency situations (e.g., medical incidents, fires, or threats) and assist with evacuations when necessary Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients, visitors, and staff courteously and professionally De-escalate tense situations using approved techniques and sound judgment Complete accurate and detailed daily activity and incident reports Collaborate with hospital personnel and local authorities to uphold a safe and secure environment Enforce hospital policies and ensure compliance with all safety and visitor protocolsRequirementsValid Security License for the Province of Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor) COVID-19 Vaccination (minimum two doses) Immunization records for MMR, Varicella, and two-step TB skin test N95 Mask Fit certification English fluency (oral and written) Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) required Candidates without these certifications may complete Paladin's UOF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding Training is unpaid but covered by Paladin with a 6-month commitment to the position Legally authorized to work in CanadaBenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO) Health Care Dental Coverage Overtime Pay On-the-Job Training Growth Opportunities Free Uniforms Annual Boot Allowance Education Allowance (Unionized Benefit) Pension Plan (Unionized Benefit) Security License Reimbursement Dry Cleaning & Tailoring Allowance Work Today, Get Paid Today - Daily Pay Available
