IT Functional Business Analyst – Permanent (Antwerp)A growing international logistics company is looking for a skilled and analytical IT Functional Business Analyst to join its IT Applications team in Antwerp. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys translating business needs into functional solutions.Role SummaryAs an IT Functional Business Analyst, you act as the vital link between business stakeholders and the development team. You analyze requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape digital solutions that support operational efficiency. You’ll be involved throughout the development lifecycle—from initial analysis and design to testing and implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirement Analysis – Gather and analyze business needs, define the “As-Is” and “To-Be” processes, and translate them into actionable user stories.Stakeholder Collaboration – Support Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders in refining and detailing their requests.Team Support – Clarify user stories for the development team and assist during implementation.Documentation & Design – Create mockups and process flows using tools like Figma, FigJam, and Visual Paradigm.Testing & Validation – Organize and guide Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for major releases.Knowledge Transfer – Assist the application support team in understanding new functionalities and preparing end-user documentation.Agile Participation – Actively engage in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Your ProfileBachelor’s degree or higher, with at least 5 years of experience as an IT Functional Business Analyst.Experience in the logistics or transport sector is a plus.Strong analytical and communication skills, with a user-focused mindset.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Proficient in tools such as UML, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Figma, FigJam, and Visual Paradigm.Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.Eligible for a mandatory security clearance for critical port-related functions.What’s OfferedA permanent full-time position in a dynamic and international environment.Flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home after onboarding.Attractive salary package based on experience and qualifications.Extra-legal benefits including meal vouchers, hospitalization insurance, and group insurance.Ready to leave your mark on challenging projects?📞 0488542459📧 alex@recurv.be
