Functional ControllerLocation: Germany (Remote)Our client seeks a Functional Controller to support centralised controlling across multiple business units during a key transformation. The role covers financial planning, reporting, and process improvements to enable strategic decision-making.Responsibilities:Support centralised controlling development for 20+ units during transformation.Manage budgeting and forecasting aligned with long-term goals.Monitor costs and performance to meet financial targets and deliver value.Identify deviations, recommend corrective actions, and coordinate with stakeholders.Produce financial reports and insights for decision-making.Drive process improvements and automation with data teams.Act as key contact for functional controlling in a matrix organisation, ensuring clear communication with senior leadership.Your Profile:Degree in business administration, health economics, or related field.3–5 years’ controlling experience, ideally in healthcare, life sciences, or complex corporate settings.Strong skills in cost control, KPI tracking, IC accounting, and closing processes.Analytical, able to turn data into actionable insights.Experience in organisational transformation and stakeholder management is a plus.Proactive, results-oriented, focused on optimisation and continuous improvement.Fluent in German and English with strong communication skills.Proficient in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Power Query, VBA, PowerPoint).BI tools (e.g., Power BI) or programming skills are advantageous.What’s Offered:Company-funded supplementary health insurance.Employee discounts and wellness programmes.Engaging role in a modern, collaborative controlling team.Flexible working hours and remote options.
