Equifind have recently partnered with a high growth and entrepreneurial European Alternative Investment Manager, close to the $10Bn in AUM mark. It's been 5 years since inception only, and they are looking to hire a Fund Controller through growth, It is a no.2 in the fund team, the line manager reports into the CFO. Investing in capital solutions, opportunistic credit, CLOs and structured products.Based on Pall Mall, London.The firm is seeking someone strong experience within Hedge Funds and confidence to deal with the investment professionals and Senior stakeholders on a regular basis. Close ended funds is a strong nice to have.The Role:Reporting into the Head of Ops/ Head of Fund Control of this fast paced growing Hedge Fund, you will cover the following:-The team is small, so directing and working with the outsourced providers is crucialFund PnL control, pricing review, valuationPnL analysis, movements/driversPartnering with core finance, Operations, investment teamsNAV oversight and analysis on trading strategiesInvestor reportingWorking with valuation committee and assisting with month end close and year endContinual process improvement and automationAd Hoc projects, multiple projects in the pipelineApplication Criteria:Qualified accountant/Product Controller (CFA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) – Ideally with a minimum of 8-10 years of experienceAlternative Asset Management, Hedge Fund or IM experienceP&L experienceProcess improvement/automation mindsetPrevious experience of working in regulated environmentWillingness to get involved in the detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCompensation:Annual bonus, huge potentialEmployer pension contributionsLife assurance25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysMedical insurance
