Business Development Manager – Commercial FurnitureDubai, UAESalary: 25,000 – 30,000 AED per month + commsA leading global commercial furniture manufacturer is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its Dubai team. A well-established company in the UAE market and operates across workplace, corporate, and commercial environments. The successful candidate will have strong UAE experience within the commercial furniture sector and a proven track record of driving business growth through relationships with designers, architects, contractors, and end users.This is a client-facing, proactive business development role with excellent long-term career potential.Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Market DevelopmentIdentify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the UAE, particularly within design and build firms, architecture practices, corporate clients, and project consultants.Manage the complete sales cycle—from initial prospecting and proposal development through to order closing and handover.Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities within the commercial interiors sector.Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including interior designers, procurement teams, real estate advisors, and contractors.Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to promote the brand and its product offerings.Provide product presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs.Project Coordination & Sales SupportWork closely with internal teams—design, operations, and logistics—to ensure smooth coordination from quotation to delivery.Prepare proposals, pricing strategies, and tender submissions.Ensure accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.Monitor project timelines and ensure high levels of client satisfaction throughout the process.Internal & Regional CollaborationCollaborate with global and regional teams to ensure alignment on product standards, pricing, and brand consistency.Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure accurate lead times and product information.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in commercial furniture business development or sales.Mandatory UAE market experience with an established network of industry contacts.Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organisational skills.UAE driving license required.Desired SkillsSelf-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence key stakeholders.Understanding of furniture specifications, materials, ergonomics, and workplace trends.Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp) is advantageous.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
