What You'll Be Working OnDevelop and articulate a clear product strategy aligned with the company's overall goals, focusing on the Payment Gateway product suiteLead the end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery, ideation, prioritization, delivery, and go-to-marketWork closely with engineering to define the architecture of a modular, scalable, multi-tenant gatewayDrive feature development:
payment routing, cascading, MID management, risk logic, PSP integrations, merchant management portalsCollaborate with Sales, Ops, Risk/Compliance to ensure the product meets market and client-specific needsCoordinate integrations with external PSPs, acquirers, fraud tools, CRMs, KYC/AML providersManage backlog, documentation, OKRs, and align with C-level stakeholders on delivery expectationsEnsure the product complies with PCI DSS, 3DS, GDPR, and other regulatory requirementsServe as product evangelist:
explain and defend product decisions, manage pre-sales demos, support onboarding of first clientsWhat You Need To Succeed In This Role5+ years in product management, with at least 3 years dedicated to payment gateway or white-label PSP productsProven experience building or significantly scaling gateway platforms, not just integrating third-party onesStrong technical understanding of payment flow orchestration, transaction lifecycles, and PSP API structuresExperience designing or working with features like routing logic, failover, transaction scoring, retry logic, multi-MID switching, PSP onboarding, merchant dashboardsStrong cross-functional leadership:
you’ve driven product work across Engineering, Compliance, Finance, OpsClear experience taking a product from 0 → 1, ideally in SaaS or platform productsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills - you translate complexity into clarityEnglish: B2 and above, Russian: fluent.
