PRIORITY, one of the largest and fastest growing Management and IT consulting firms in Greece is currently seeking to hire a GDPR & Data Protection Officer. The position is project-based, depending on the needs of the company.Position duties: The responsibilities of the position mostly include:Participate in GDPR and data governance projects.Interact with customers on a regular basis.Compare current practices against legal and regulatory requirements, international standards and best practices.Prepare management reports and system documentation: policies, procedures, etc.Provide advice and instructions on how to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).Participate in meetings with managers to ensure privacy by design at all levels.Maintain records of processing operations.Write and update detailed guides on data protection policies.Perform audits and determine whether is needed to alter procedures to comply with regulations.Offer consultation on how to deal with privacy breaches.Arrange for training on GDPR compliance for employees.Follow up with changes in law and issue recommendations to ensure compliance.RequirementsAt least 2 years of experience in data protection and legal complianceSolid knowledge of GDPR and national data protection lawsFamiliarity with computer security systemsAbility to handle confidential informationEthical, with the ability to remain impartial and report non-conformitiesOrganizational skills with attention to detailBenefits Flexible Working Conditions -We promote a flexible environment so that you can enjoy teleworking, early Fridays, early August departure etc. Training and Soft Skills Development -We promote continuous training for your career and personal development Talent Acceleration- We implement programs that help your talent evolve and accelerate your performance thus bridging our business challenges with the needs of your career.
