Weir MineralsJakarta, IndonesiaOnsite The Technical Field Advisor in Indonesia will travel to various mine sites to provide hands-on technical support, including maintenance of GEHO pumps and related equipment. The role also involves managing on-site stock, reporting equipment and inventory status, and building strong customer relationships through technical expertise. We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.   Key Responsibilities:OperationalTo perform maintenance on GEHO pumps and associated equipment at customers site and providing detailed reports of activities conductedFlexibility with working hours based on customer requirements PeopleWorking with various internal stakeholders across the business – National and Global Developing and maintaining customer relationships Compliance & AccreditationComply with Weir and Customer policies and procedures Maintain accreditation for required licenses to perform the role Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Requirements:Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience as a fitter/mechanic. Prior experience in maintaining mining equipment is an advantage. Languages: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, and English and Mandarin; Mandarin is a plus. Technical Skills: Ability to interpret technical standards and produce detailed reports. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems like SAP is desirable. Physical & Work Environment: Willingness to work at remote mine sites for extended periods (up to 3 weeks), including 12-hour shifts in hot, humid, and dusty conditions. Manual handling and use of heavy tools required. Certifications: Relevant technical certifications from previous roles are a plus.
