Position OverviewThe General Assembler is responsible for assembling parts and components into complete products, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout the process. This role involves following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), using hand tools and machinery, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their work, ensure all assemblies meet specifications, and communicate effectively with team members to support production goals.LocationRegina, SKJob TypeFull TimeResponsibilitiesRead, interpret, and follow assembly instructions and established SOPs.Collect and prepare all materials, components, and equipment needed for each task.Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit and alignment of components.Assemble parts into subassemblies and complete products according to specifications.Inspect assembled items to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.Follow all safety guidelines and 5S methodology to maintain a clean, organized work area.Record production quantities, times, and material usage accurately.Report any malfunctions, defective parts, or quality issues to supervisors.Apply quality control principles and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Support and actively participate in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System.Utilize the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for tracking and documentation.Perform additional duties as required within the context of the role.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing or assembly experience is an asset.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to follow detailed instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings.Skilled in using tools (e.g., clamps) and machinery (e.g., presses).Comfortable using computers, laptops, and tablets.Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.Soldering experience is an asset.Additional RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 80 lbs.Overtime may be required during peak production periods.Commitment to maintaining a safe, high-quality, and team-oriented work environment.# #SF#How we hireOur hiring process is designed to help us get to know you and discover if you are the best fit for our team.
