We promise a career opportunity in a dynamic and collaborative environment that promotes development and fosters well-being.Main ResponsibilitiesExecute day to day accounting activities which may include maintenance of a complete and accurate general Ledger accounting and preparation of financial reporting in line with Service Level Agreement with the businessPrepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end closing processesConduct related General Ledger (GL) closing activities ensuring they are completed in time and accordance to the group guidanceManage Fixed Assets ledgerPrepare, document, and keep up to date operating procedures for accounting rolePerform Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, account clearing and investigate any discrepanciesCollaborate with other Etex departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactionsAssist in the Internal and External audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiriesEnsure all oral and written interaction with all business partners – internal and external is at highest professional standardsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement of General LedgerAbout youDegree in Accounting/Finance or equivalentWritten and verbal fluency in English, knowledge of other EU language, if requiredFew years of experience in General Accounting in a multinational environmentKnowledge of accounting principles, practices, and proceduresGood communication, analytical and problem-solving skillsFlexible approach with a strong team spiritChange resistantProfessional style when dealing with business clientsCompliance & controllership mindsetProficient IT skills including Excel and OutlookKnowledge of SAP platform would be a great advantageExperience in transition of functions would be an advantageBenefits of working at EtexProfessional team to work with in an international environment and multi-cultural business, exploiting modern working methods and tools.Clear and honest Performance evaluation.
