Ltd. as a specialist in full overhaul, testing and component repair services for GE90 series engines, our key capabilities including performance restoration, quick-turn shop visits as well as module and component repair services.Position DescriptionThe General Manager will own full profit & loss responsibility, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a critical link between leasing support services and the parent company’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services.What You'll DoStrategic LeadershipDefine and execute the company’s strategic vision and growth plan in alignment with the parent MRO’s objectivesDevelop and manage the business model, including asset acquisition, divestment, and partnership strategiesLead commercial structuring of joint ventures, strategic alliances, and long-term agreementsDevelop capital expenditure (CAPEX) and return on investment (ROI) planning strategies to support long-term growthOperation ExcellenceBuild and lead a cross-functional team across commercial, technical, and finance domainsOversee lease portfolio management: sourcing, structuring, delivery, return, and optimisation of engine assetsEnsure strong financial planning, budgeting, investment appraisal, and capital allocationMaintain robust financial controls, risk management, and transparent reporting to the boardApply financial modelling and credit risk assessment to support investment decisionsMarket DevelopmentDrive client acquisition and relationship management with airlines, OEMs, lessors, and financiersMonitor market trends and competitive intelligence to inform pricing and investment strategiesTrack lease rate factors, maintenance reserve values, and market dynamicsRepresent the company at key industry events and forumsCompliance & GovernanceEnsure full compliance with aviation regulations, lease terms, and internal governance frameworksManage legal, tax, insurance, and audit processes related to leasing operationsEstablish governance structures aligned with asset ownership and jurisdictional requirementsCross-Functional IntegrationAlign leasing strategies with MRO operations to optimize asset lifecycle valueCoordinate with HR, IT, finance, and logistics to ensure operational support and governanceCollaborate across internal functions to support lease returns and asset managementWhat You'll Need Functional and other Relevant ExperienceAt least 10 years of experience in aircraft engine leasing or aviation asset management within a leasing company, OEM, or investment firmProven track record in structuring and negotiating lease and financing agreementsStrong foundations in credit risk, financial modelling, and P&L managementFamiliarity with MRO operations and their commercial driversExperience managing lease portfolios and optimizing asset utilization Qualifications and other Relevant KnowledgeBachelor’s or Master’s degree in aviation, engineering, business, finance, law, or related fieldMBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferredExperience working across international markets and navigating cross-border complexitiesStrong communication skills and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus HAECO Group is an equal opportunity employer.
