Experience, Skills And QualificationsBachelor degree of Science (Geology).Excellent field mapping, logging and section interpretation skills.Demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed SSHE goals that support the department site and company standards.Good computer skills; proficient with QGIS or MapInfo-Discover/ArcGIS and 3D modelling software Leapfrog or Micromine.Good organizational, field planning, and time management skills.Good written and verbal communication skills in English.3-5 years’ experience gold and copper exploration preferred.Key Responsibilities IncludeImplement and ensure compliance with LXML policies and procedures.Leadership and supervision of all field-based copper-gold exploration activities.Provide accurate geological logs of RC and DD drilling, and detailed maps and sections of prospects.Rigorous monitoring of Exploration field procedures and protocols to ensure safe, efficient, and effective program implementation.Assist superintendent/senior geologist manage and oversee contractors and their work.Training, development, and mentoring of junior geologists and field assistants.An attractive salary package, including performance-based incentives and other benefits is on offer for this role.
