This role supports cadastral mapping and land record management projects, assisting in the creation, maintenance, and analysis of parcel data within the Parcel Fabric environment. We combine curiosity, technical excellence, and problem-solving to transform data into actionable insights that support smarter planning, stronger communities, and lasting impact.Data Development and AnalysisCreate, edit, and maintain parcels, subdivisions, easements, and right-of-way data in Esri’s Parcel FabricInterpret legal descriptions, plats, deeds, and survey documents to support parcel mapping workflowsConduct spatial analysis and produce high-quality maps, reports, and dashboards to support client deliverablesDevelop strategies and recommendations based on spatial and tabular data analysisCollaboration and CommunicationCollaborate effectively with colleagues, project managers, and clients to achieve project goalsCommunicate complex GIS and planning concepts in a clear and accessible mannerMaintain detailed documentation of new methods, processes, and workflowsProvide consistent progress updates to project managers and team leadsSupport and mentor junior GIS staff when appropriateQuality Assurance and StandardsPerform data validation, QA/QC, and error-checking to ensure accuracy and reliabilityUphold standards for metadata, schema consistency, and topology within the Parcel Fabric environmentProfessional Growth and LearningStay current with industry trends, Esri technology updates, and best practices in cadastral and parcel mappingParticipate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skillsWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Surveying, Urban Planning, or related fieldThree (3) or more years of GIS experience, preferably in urban planning, land records, or cadastral mappingExperience creating maps, managing geospatial databases, and performing spatial analysis using ArcGIS ProStrong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skillsProven attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience working with Esri Parcel Fabric, including schema design, topology management, and record creationExperience with ArcGIS Online applications (Experience Builder, Field Maps, Survey123, Dashboards)Knowledge of geodatabase management, versioned editing, and SQL conceptsExposure to land records, right-of-way mapping, or survey principlesEsri Foundations or Associate certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire at company expense)What We OfferOur world-class work environment encompasses flexible and remote work options, a commitment to equity, and nationally respected teams in management consulting and technology services.
